This year has been one of the most productive since I have ventured into the big bad world of Photography as a professional. I have expanded my point of view and my personal style leaps and bounds this year after having invested in my craft through tutorials, workshops and countless hours of study. I have selected a few of my favorite images to feature here, which I hope that you will enjoy. I have also done a year-in-review of some of the highlights from each of my sessions from this year, and a few new edits :) Enjoy! -Loni

Black in Color: iheartfaces challenge
http://iheartfaces.com
This week's challenge over at iheartfaces.com is "Black" the only catch is that it cannot be a black and white image. This automatically forces me to think out of the box, and I like that! I wanted to convey a very dark intensity contrasted by very saturated colors. My goal on the post-processing was to create something almost ethereal yet intense. I love juxtaposition and that's where I came from on this image! Hope you enjoy viewing please feel free to leave feedback :)

Moments to Treasure
I love being a mom. There are many times when I feel like I may just go off the deep end when the kids yell back at me when I scold them, or when they throw things in fits of anger. But then there are these precious moments of pure fantasy and imagination that I simply adore. I love watching them create characters and roles for themselves each day, especially on Halloween. Being Sheriff Woody brought out Kaleb's desire to protect his younger siblings. Brooklyn was as close to graceful as she's ever been. And Aidan, well, he's got a pretty darn cute roar.
